WANT TOP DOLLAR? …

FOLLOW LYNN MARTINI’S CHECKLIST FOR SELLERS

Remember that I am here to help you Stage your Home, but to get ready for my “Staging Day” you can Start with the Following Tips:

Lynn’s “Rule of 3” – No more than 3 Items per surface ( End Tables, Coffee Tables, Counter Tops, Shelves)

REMOVE CLUTTER!! Especially in Kitchen: Clear counters (and REMOVE Fridge Magnets) . Be sure Appliances are free of Grease Stains

Put Bulky or extra furniture in storage (in basement, garage or outside facility).

Remove those Toothbrushes, Cups & Toothpaste from the Bathroom Counter. Make the bathrooms feel luxurious. NO Dirty Towels or Bath Mats

Invite Sunshine in by washing windows and screens.

Get rid of smells by cleaning Carpet and Drapes.

Don’t disregard minor repairs such as sticky doors, dripping faucets and cracked caulking

Don’t underestimate the importance of Curb Appeal-keep your Landscaping in tip-top shape

Invest in Paint, using soothing or neutral colors

Add a touch of color in the living room with a colorful afghan and throw pillows

Make centerpieces for your tables with flowers or fruit

Set the table with fancy dishes and candles and create vignettes throughout the home to help buyers picture living there

Replace heavy curtains with sheer ones that allow more light to enter and show off your view

Accentuate the fireplace. Lay fresh logs in the fireplace or put a basket of flowers there if it’s not in use

And finally…. To prepare for a Showing… .Leave lights on as you are leaving the house and take your Pets with you !!
